Received from Betsy Rodino - is with a very saddened heart that I must inform you of the passing on August 12, 2008 of Mario Scaramellino, PHS Class of 1967. Mario was the most wonderful guy you would ever want to know and the world just lost a great one. Mario's family owned Mario's Restaurant on Washington Street and Mario ran it as his father got older and after he passed on. Eventually they closed their doors. I had my wedding there, as did my sisters Mario F. Scaramellino Jr. SCARAMELLINO Mario F. Scaramellino Jr., age 59, passed away August 12, 2008. Mario was employed with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio as a Division Chief. Preceded in death by parents Mario and Rose (Spina) Scaramellino Sr. and brother Peter. Survived by sister, Louise Schmitt and brother-in-law, Robert O'Toole, both of Gilbert, Arizona; nephew, Steven Schmitt; numerous loving relatives, special friends and co-workers. Family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard.
